Frederick Community College – Monroe Center

The Frederick Community College Monroe Center was a unique project for Warner Construction. The Monroe Center is a 55,000 SF facility that offers classes for vocational training, medical careers, business, and technology, as well as many other skills and trades. The scope of the project included the complete interior renovation of the building. HVAC labs, culinary, density, and medical labs all had their own special requirements that made each area unique and required additional coordination and design.

The project was a flagship program for the State of Maryland. They enabled a partnership between Frederick Community College and Frederick County. It utilized one building to combine two uses around the same idea…future employment.
